The Tea Street Band return with new video and first release for new Liverpool record label Baltic Records.
The Tea Street Band have unleashed their latest single, Lost For Words.
Accompanying the track is their second video proper, a slice of retro-kaleidoscopic visuals, which recalls the sun-kissed baggy haze of the Stone Roses‘ Fools Gold.
The single also marks the first release for new Liverpool record label, Baltic Records, a venture headed by Tea Street Band manager and Liverpool Sound City boss David Pichilingi and promises future releases by fellow Merseysider’s Bird.
Pichilingi said: ‘As part of a new venture we are launching a new record label called Baltic Records.
‘This was instigated by my good friend Seymour Stein who will be working with us very closely. The label will be distributed via Warners/ADA. We are firmly rooted in Liverpool, UK. Our first releases are The Tea Street Band and Bird.‘
The cover art for Lost For Words and Baltic Records‘ logo is below, plus that super-flashy TSB video.
The Tea Street Band play East Village Arts Club on Thursday December 12 – more details here.
