Loved Ones’ debut album The Merry Monarch has both justified the hype and paved the way for a bright future. Getintothis’ Gaz Jones documented a stunning evening.
Loved Ones are one of Liverpool’s finest new bands. The early promise of two insistent and captivating singles has blossomed into a strong following and a GIT Award winning album.
They duly obliged, and their launch show for The Merry Monarch left Getintothis’ Tom Dani all loved up and wanting even more.
Getintothis’ Gaz Jones caught them, and support acts, The Laze and Nadine Carina, on the top of their game in one of the city’s well-hidden but no less wonderful venues.
The Scandinavian Church’s stunning architecture was the perfect place for the night’s events
Loved Ones are proving to be another vital organ in Liverpool’s music scene
A sterling set from Nadine Carina brought on a different hue
The Laze proved they were no slouches
