The Charlatans are to headline the closing Bank Holiday weekend festivities of the Liverpool International Music Festival 2013.
The iconic 90s band, who released chart-smashing albums Tellin’ Stories, The Charlatans, Some Friendly and Us and Us Only, will play an all-dayer alongside Liverpool-born Hacienda DJ Greg Wilson.

Bassist Martin Blunt said: “It’s great to be part of the city’s first International Music Festival, performing in the legendary St George’s Hall venue will be a first for us – the whole band are looking forward to it.”
They are joined at the St George’s Hall gig, which runs 4pm-12am, by former Hacienda DJ Greg Wilson, former GIT Award nominees The Tea Street Band and By The Sea.
Completing the bill are The Fallows, Deadbeat Echoes, Regency, The Bibelots, Psyence, Welcome Pariah, Violet Class, Wilson Minds and Barnie Soanes.
