Scottish electronic mavericks return from the wilderness with characteristic slice of electronic excellence.
Well, it was worth the wait.
Warp trailblazers Boards Of Canada returned tonight with the first offering from one of the year’s decade’s most anticipated records, Tomorrow’s Harvest – the duo’s first studio album since 2005’s The Campfire Headphase.
Reach for the Dead is an oozing, slow undulation of textured ripples building to an epic swell reminiscent of Clint Mansell‘s cinematic sci-fi electronica – it is quite extraordinary.
Enjoy it for yourself here, June 10 and Tomorrow’s Harvest can’t come soon enough.
