Getintothis on Wolstenholme Creative Space and the end of a DIY legend.
Tip for 2013
Will says: ‘Tunabunny‘s forthcoming third album Genius Fatigue is going to remind people that raggedy, hyper-imaginative art is at least as vital as, and often more powerful than the polished stuff. Dashes of Sonic Youth, early Throwing Muses, Riot Grrrl and the E6 collective make for one helluva cocktail..

Stephanie said: ‘The Liverpool music event of the year has to go to Sound City. So well organised, brilliant line up, fantastic atmosphere – even in the lashing rain – and makes use of some innovative venues. Loved the closing night this year, raving it up to The Tea Street Band in a warehouse – boss!
Tip for 2013
Stephanie said: ‘Coffee and Cakes for Funerals – totally caught me off guard when I saw them. I was expecting maudlin navel gazing indie crap, I got tight JT style vocals, a slick band and soulful RnB meets hip hop meets top notch pop. Lesson learnt, don’t judge a book by the cover/or a band by their apparel. I hope 2012 is big for them, and look forward to seeing them in future.
