Coffee and Cakes for Funerals and Chelcee Grimes were the latest of Liverpool’s emerging new music melting pot to play Edge Hill University’s live music night Cantina. Getintothis’ Tom Hesketh captured the action.
Fresh from being named in Getintothis‘ top acts to watch in 2013, Coffee and Cakes For Funerals dropped this inviting gig teaser to their track Sleep Patterns yesterday.
The track has long been a favourite around Getintothis HQ, and the promo acts as a precursor to their gig at the Shipping Forecast on Wednesday January 30.
Also on the bill are Highfields, Nadine Carina and Collectors Club.
C&CFF‘s first outing of the new year follows an impressive pre-Christmas showing at Edge Hill University, where our snapper Tom Hesketh caught the lads in action.
They performed alongside another rising Liverpool talent, Chelcee Grimes. She’s been teasing our ear lobes for sometime too, but has retreated from the limelight to hone new material – some of which is set to be on show when she plays House on Bold Street on Sunday January 20 (for details visit here).
