Two Sunsets deliver debut offering – a swirling kaleidoscopic treat.
I wasn’t going to write anything this weekend after this week’s splurge of annual album overload.
However, this one was too good to miss.
Two Sunsets is the vehicle of Wirral duo Philip Bridges and Sean Butler. They delve into the dreamy underbelly of melodic pop creating fantastical washes of colour and sounds which are as visual as they are beautiful on the ear.
New track Searchlights combines gushing rhythms, oozing textured percussion and vocals submerged beneath walls of oceanic loveliness. It’s a fantastic first offering.
Their debut single proper is out via The Great Pop Supplement (By The Sea, Spacemen 3, Soundcarriers, Still Corners) but you can watch the video created by audio visual artist Alan Williams below.
