Sun Drums return with epic electronica – Order Of Nothing.
Sun Drums have returned with their next instalment of first-rate musicology for 2012.
Continuing their evolution into one of Merseyside’s most expressive electronic-hip hop hybrids, Order Of Nothing is an epic vortex of bleak spacial thuds, dancing whispery textures and an intensity few contemporaries can hope to match.
Sun Drums told Getintothis: ‘Order of Nothing is an exploratory music commission for Wolstenholme Creative Space and is part of their ‘Inhospitable Landscape’ installation.
‘At 11 minutes long, it is a dark, industrial hip-hop piece that explores themes of isolation and dystopia.‘
They’ll be showcasing the new sound at Wolstenholme Creative Space‘s Inhospitable Landscape installation as part of Liverpool Biennial alongside The HIVE Collective DJ‘s and Kepla on Friday November 23.
