For the last few days at Getintothis HQ we’ve been doing some serious Liverpool Sound City homework.
Swatting up on the multitude of acts set to take over Liverpool from Thursday May 17 until Saturday May 19, has been quite a task – but it’s been considerable fun making notes and getting involved.
And from the wealth of music listened to thus far, it’s fair to say Liverpool Sound City 2012 is shaping up to be an absolute belter.
If you’ve yet to shell out some dollars on a three-day wristband (really, what are you thinking?), then here’s your chance to join in the carnage as the good folk at Sound City have teamed up with Getintothis to offer a swell competition.
We’re offering two lucky readers a pair of three-day wristbands which will allow them to soak up as many sights and sounds as they so wish.
On top of that, the winner will receive a pair of tickets to any Epstein Theatre show from now until May 2013 – and what with Ian McCulloch, James Vincent McMorrow and Michael Kiwanuka already booked for Epstein gigs, it gives an insight into the calibre of musicians that could yet grace that beautiful concert hall.
