Hotly-tipped BBC Sound Poll winner joins feast of artists set for Liverpool Sound City 2012.
BBC Sound Of 2012 winner Michael Kiwanuka joins Professor Green, White Denim and Death In Vegas for Liverpool Sound City 2012.
Fresh on the back of his Kazimier date last night, Kiwanuka, who has toured with Laura Marling and Adele, will perform at the fifth annual Liverpool festival.
Mystery Jets, Alkaline Trio, Slow Club, Willy Mason, Ghost Poet, The Jezabels, (ALT-J), Niki and the Dove, Toy are also among the next wave of bands confirmed for May 17-19 city festival.
Dutch Uncles and Poland’s finest Paula and Karol have also been added to the inaugural New York Sound City event in March, headlined by The La’s playing their first New York show in 20 Years.
Sound City will also play host to Forest Swords, The History of Apple Pie, Bear In Heaven, Folks, The Computers, Still Flyin’, Jonquil, Shields, Towns, PINS and Bleached.
