Liverpool’s prince of glam pop is back on Friday – snaffle up prize tickets now.
A darling from the early days of Evol, having played bass for founding fathers Ladytron, Pop Levi, along with Snap Ant went on to become part of the avant collective Super Numeri who released two albums via Ninja Tunes.
His solo voyage of discovery saw him move to Los Angeles and record the album The Return To Form Black Magick Party before a whistle stop tour of the UK brought him back to Liverpool where he swaggered on to Korova‘s stage gone midnight before tearing through one of the sets of these ears have ever heard. Spectacular doesn’t come close.
Two years on, Pop Levi returns to Liverpool with a new band making their debut at Shipping Forecast.
We think you’ll agree he’s one of the greatest showmen around; a zephyr of talent and a whirlwind on stage, a true performer who’s done things his way.
With just 100 tickets up for grabs we’re giving away two. To win add Getintothis on Twitter and tell us what type of chocolatey breakfast cereal goes ‘snap, crackle and POP!’
Winners announced Friday.
