I kinda thought I was the last bro on earth to check out Fang Island, I mean Jon was banging on about them at last year’s SXSW, but then I spoke to Sean and he hadn’t heard of them, so maybe I’m not too far behind.
Anyways, check the above, I reckon the middle eight and the closing solo is quite possibly the most life-affirming, shithot, jump-off-the-stage-like-Iggy-used-to-do-moment I’ve heard all year. Their long-player is out now on Sargent Records. More good stuff inside.
