I held off for as long as possible, but like Facebook, its pull seemed unavoidable – and now we just can’t stop ‘tweeting.’
Oh very dear.
For the uninitiated Twitter is a ‘real-time short messaging service’. Kinda like updating your status on Facebook, but with the added incentive of getting regular updates from those you subscribe to (tweeters), be it Drowned in Sound, Pitchfork or Sub Pop.
Numerous slebs are on it too; Kanye, Bowie (supposedly – though he was forced to issue a recent denial!?!), Bjork – and non-musos like Jonathan Ross, Charlie Brooker and Frankie Boyle.
