Catholic Action announce a 2018 UK tour and Getintothis’ Ellie Montgomery has the details
Catholic Action have announced a fourteen date headline UK tour this week which will go ahead in February and March 2018.
The tour reaches all areas of the country including Shipping Forecast in Liverpool on March 3, 2018 and has been announced in support of their acclaimed debut album In Memory Of. A record of unapologetic indie pop, this Glaswegian four piece are definitely one to watch in the upcoming year.
Featuring tracks such as Propaganda and Doing Well, the album is an upbeat explosion of indie dance anthems. It draws comparison to classic debut albums of artists such as The Vaccines and The Wombats through its glitteringly humorous depiction of teenage experience pitted against infectiously catchy guitar riffs.
The band have also been confirmed to play South by Southwest Music Festival in March 2018 alongside other British rising stars such as The Magic Gang, Nadia Rose and Shame. This not only proves the exciting potential of Catholic Action, but suggests this exuberant foursome are going to be a prominent name on the 2018 festival season circuit.
